A Hundred Years: Impressionist & Modern Master Works, 1880-1980

Alon Zakaim Fine Art are proud to launch their second gallery on Dover Street with the opening show which will unveil key works by the artists who who shaped the course of art history over the hundred years from 1880 to 1980. Beginning with paintings by Camille Pissarro, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Edgar Degas, the founders of Impressionism, the exhibition will chart developments in the visual arts through Fauvists, Maurice de Vlaminck, Emile Othon Friesz and Kees van Dongen, to Modern masters such as Pablo Picasso and Marc Chagall. Further important and powerful works influenced by, and taking reference from, these key figures will highlight the fertile and invigorating atmosphere of this period.
